Tour Itinerary

Your hot air balloon adventure begins at the Deer Valley Airport - Balloon Ride Parking Area (702 W. Deer Valley Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85027) unless you have arranged optional round-trip hotel transfers. If you select hotel transfers, pickup is from the lobby of your Phoenix or Scottsdale hotel.

As the sun rises, you'll lift off gently into the morning sky, floating silently over the Arizona desert landscape. From your aerial vantage point, you'll enjoy stunning views of the Sonoran Desert, including towering Saguaro cacti, diverse wildlife, and the distant mountain ranges. The flight typically lasts 45-60 minutes, depending on wind conditions.

After landing, we'll celebrate with a traditional champagne toast and receive your flight certificate. The tour concludes with a comfortable return to your original departure point.

Requirements

• Skill Level: Easy. No physical exertion required.
• Minimum Age: 5 years old and at least 48 inches tall.
• Physicality: Must be able to stand for approximately 45-60 minutes and climb into/out of the basket. Passengers should be able to jump off the second step of a ladder and be in good general health.
• Special Requirements: No pregnant guests and no recent surgery or broken bones. All passengers must complete a waiver before the tour.
• Attire: Closed-toe shoes required. Dress in layers for cool morning temperatures.

Season & Departure Times

Morning balloon tours are available daily, year-round. Meeting time is approximately 30 minutes prior to sunrise. Typical duration is 3-4 hours without hotel transfers and 4-5 hours with hotel transfers.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED: Please book in advance to ensure pilot availability. Flights are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled due to wind or poor visibility. Shared tours require a minimum of four passengers to operate.
