Tour Itinerary

Your day begins with a private pickup at your Phoenix, Scottsdale, or Tempe lodging before heading north into the Verde Valley. Your first stop is Montezuma Castle National Monument, a multistory Puebloan cliff dwelling built into the limestone ridge by the Sinagua people. Your guide shares fascinating stories about this ancient culture and the architecture that has endured for nearly 800 years.

From there, the tour moves into the red rock country of Sedona, where you’ll experience iconic landmarks up close — Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Airport Mesa, and the stunning Chapel of the Holy Cross, built directly into the center of a massive butte. Because this is a private experience, you set the pace and the sights.

The afternoon is yours to further customize. Add a guided red rock hike tailored to your group’s ability, explore the many art galleries and shops in Uptown Sedona or Tlaquepaque, or add a winery visit to sample the Verde Valley’s acclaimed vintages. • Walking: Flexible; sightseeing requires minimal walking, hiking varies by group.
• Elevation: Sedona sits at approximately 4,350 feet.
• Special Requirements: For the optional hike, please bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and a reusable water bottle.

This tour is available all year, with departures between 6:00am–7:00am; return time will depend on the pace of the group.
