Website:  /private-sedona-day-tour-custom-hike-from-phoenix/

What is included in the Private Sedona Day Tour?
Private luxury SUV or van transportation with a dedicated professional guide, all park entry fees including Montezuma Castle National Monument, unlimited bottled water, and live commentary throughout the day.

How much does the tour cost?
Pricing is per vehicle: 1–3 guests $975, 4–5 guests $1,075, 6–10 guests $1,450, 11–13 guests $1,700, plus a $40/group fuel surcharge.

How long is the tour?
The tour runs 8–11 hours depending on your group’s pace. Departures are recommended between 6:00 and 7:00 AM; a shorter day may require leaving out some stops.

What landmarks will we visit?
The tour includes Montezuma Castle National Monument, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Airport Mesa, Chapel of the Holy Cross, and Oak Creek Canyon. You’ll also have time to explore Sedona’s shops and galleries.

Can we customize the itinerary?
Yes. This is a private tour, so you set the pace and the sights. You can add a guided hike, visit wineries, focus on shopping and galleries, or swap various points of interest for others, as long as the tour duration doesn’t change.

Is the guided hike included in the price?
No. The guided hike is an optional add-on at $135 per person with a 2-person minimum. It includes a professional guide, backpacks, trekking poles, water, and trail snacks. We highly recommend booking it in advance, as same-day availability cannot be guaranteed.

Can we add a wine tasting?
Yes. You can add a visit to one of the Verde Valley’s wineries for a tasting experience. Wine tastings are not included in the base price.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

How difficult is the tour?
The sightseeing portion is easy with casual walking, suitable for children, seniors, and everyone in between. The optional hike can be customized from easy to strenuous to match your group’s ability.

Is this tour suitable for children?
Yes. The minimum age is 3 years old, and the sightseeing portion is easy and accessible for most fitness levels.

WHAT TO BRING & WHAT TO WEAR

What should I bring?
Bring sunscreen, a hat, comfortable closed-toe shoes, and a camera. If you’re adding the guided hike, wear closed-toe shoes suitable for uneven terrain.

How does the temperature compare to Phoenix?
Sedona is typically 10–15 degrees cooler than Phoenix and Scottsdale, so it can be hot in summer and chilly in winter. Dress in layers.

Where is the pickup?
Pickup is from select locations in the Phoenix & Scottsdale area. Your pickup details are confirmed when you book.

What type of vehicle will we use?
