Tour Itinerary

Your day begins at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport, where you'll board a narrated flight to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Flights may make additional stops.

From the airplane, you'll go directly to the world-famous Skywalk - an architectural marvel extending 65 feet over the edge of the Canyon. As you venture out and look straight down through the glass floor, you can't help but feel like you are a part of the Grand Canyon.

Just outside the Skywalk, experience Hualapai Indian culture at Eagle Point - named for the formation in the canyon walls resembling an eagle spreading her wings - with an Indian Village and occasional Native American performances.

The final stop is Guano Point, one of the most scenic places to enjoy lunch (provided with the tour) on a plateau surrounded on three sides by the Canyon. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely walk along a trail extending out into the Canyon for spectacular views and photo opportunities.

Requirements

• Ages: 2 and older. Infants are discouraged from this tour due to the amount of walking involved.
• Mobility: Not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges (uneven ground, stairs, no guard rails).
• Inclusive Tour: If you choose not to participate in any of the activities, the cost will remain the same.
• Tribal Rules: Per Hualapai tribal rules, outside food and alcoholic drinks are not allowed.

Season & Departure Times

This tour operates year-round with a morning departure from the Phoenix area. This is a full-day experience of approximately 6–7 hours.

Important Notes

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED: This tour is booked on a first-come, first-served basis - we will confirm availability with you after booking.

Helicopter Option: While flights to and from Grand Canyon West are by passenger airplane, guests may add an approximately 20-minute helicopter journey departing from Grand Canyon West - descending 3,500 feet below the rim to land just 300 feet above the Colorado River. Should weather or other circumstances render this option unavailable on the day of your tour, only the helicopter option amount is refunded.
