  • Two Ways to See the Canyon: A narrated airplane flight from Phoenix plus a helicopter ride to the canyon floor - the most complete West Rim experience we offer.
  • Walk the Glass Skywalk: Step out over the edge on a glass bridge with 4,000 feet of open air beneath you.
  • Hualapai Heritage: Explore the Indian Village at Eagle Point and catch occasional traditional performances.
  • Lunch Above the Colorado River: Dine on the Guano Point plateau, ringed by canyon views on three sides.

Tour Itinerary

The morning starts at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport, where you board a narrated airplane flight bound for the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. (Flights may make additional stops.)

First up on arrival: the world-famous Skywalk. Nothing prepares you for those first steps onto the glass - 65 feet past the rim, straight down to the canyon floor. Just outside, Eagle Point hosts the Hualapai Indian Village, with traditional dwellings and occasional cultural performances.

Then comes the centerpiece. You board the helicopter at Grand Canyon West and lift into the canyon itself - time-forged rock formations and stunning coloration rising around you as you descend 3,500 feet below the rim. At the exclusive landing site, a mere 300 feet above the Colorado River, you'll spend about 20 minutes soaking in views few people ever see. Bring the camera.

Back at the rim, the day wraps up at Guano Point - lunch at the Skywalk Restaurant on a plateau surrounded on three sides by the canyon, followed by a walkabout along the trail to the high point for one last panorama before the return flight to Phoenix.
