Tour Itinerary

The journey begins with a resort pickup before heading toward the Tonto National Forest boundaries. Once off-road, your guide maneuvers the 4x4 Jeep through arid washes and rocky climbs, stopping frequently to discuss the unique ecosystem and geological features of the Sonoran Desert.

After reaching scenic ridgelines for panoramic views, the group continues through rugged backcountry trails. The final leg involves a steady descent back to the paved trailhead, concluding with a comfortable return transfer to your original departure point after four hours of exploration.

Requirements

• Skill Level: No prior off-road experience required.
• Minimum Age: 3 years old.
• Walking: Minimal; short walks over uneven desert terrain.
• Elevation: Moderate changes during trail ascent.
• Special Requirements: Arizona Car Seat Law: Children under 5 must be in a car seat; ages 5–7 require a booster unless 4'9" or taller.

Important Notes

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED: Dress comfortably for a bumpy ride and walks around in a desert where everything either sticks, stings, bites or eats meat.  Close toe shoes are highly recommended.
