Tour Itinerary

The journey begins at the designated tour location before heading toward the Tonto National Forest boundaries. Once off-road, your guide maneuvers the 4x4 Jeep through arid washes and rocky climbs, stopping frequently to discuss the unique ecosystem and geological features of the Sonoran Desert.

After reaching scenic ridgelines for panoramic views, the group continues through rugged backcountry trails. The final leg involves a steady descent back to the paved trailhead, concluding back at the original meeting point after four hours of exploration.

Requirements

• Skill Level: No prior off-road experience required.
• Minimum Age: 3 years old.
• Walking: Minimal; short walks over uneven desert terrain.

• Special Requirements: Arizona Car Seat Law: Children under 5 must be in a car seat; ages 5-7 require a booster unless 4'9" or taller.
