This full-day guided tour takes you from Phoenix or Scottsdale to the Grand Canyon South Rim by luxury touring van, then puts you aboard a 45-minute helicopter flight over the canyon — the same landscape seen from two entirely different vantage points on the same day.
Walking the rim gives you scale. Flying over it gives you context. Most people never get both in the same day. This tour includes two distinct perspectives that will make you say "WOW!"
MORE DETAILS BELOW
Your day begins with an early morning pickup from select hotels in Phoenix, Scottsdale, or Tempe. Traveling north through the Sonoran Desert, the saguaro cactus gives way to pine trees as the elevation climbs. On the outskirts of Flagstaff, you’ll see the San Francisco Peaks rising above the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest in the world.
At Grand Canyon National Park, you’ll explore multiple panoramic viewpoints along the South Rim — time to walk the rim, hike a small portion of Bright Angel Trail on your own, browse the shops, or grab lunch. Your helicopter departs from the Tusayan area for a 45-minute helicopter flight covering the Kaibab National Forest, the North Rim, the Colorado River, the Painted Desert, Desert View Watchtower, Marble Canyon, Point Imperial, the Dragon Corridor, and the South Rim. The return journey brings you back to Phoenix or Scottsdale between 7:00–8:00 PM.
$559 per person — includes helicopter flight, taxes, fuel surcharge, and National Park entry fees.
