Tour Itinerary

Your day starts with an early pickup from select hotels in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, or Tempe area. As the drive heads north, the Sonoran Desert gives way to higher country and the deep green of the Ponderosa Pine Forest. The route includes time in Sedona, with a photo stop at Bell Rock and approximately 30 minutes in Uptown Sedona. From there, the road continues through Oak Creek Canyon toward the South Rim.

At Grand Canyon National Park, you'll have approximately three hours to take in the South Rim. The tour includes several viewpoints plus time in Grand Canyon Village, where you can stroll the rim and visit El Tovar and Hopi House. The stop is built for sightseeing, photos, and time to absorb the scale of the canyon. After the park visit, the return trip heads back to the Valley in the evening.

Season & Departure Times

Available year-round. Public tours depart daily between 6:00am and 7:00am and generally return between 7:00pm and 8:00pm.

Important Notes

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED: A minimum number of guests is required to confirm a public tour. Pickup is from select hotels in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe area, and some guests may be asked to meet at another hotel after booking. Grand Canyon National Park is typically 25 degrees cooler than Phoenix/Scottsdale.

Non-US Citizen Policy

Starting January 1, 2026, a $100 per person Non-US Citizen/Resident National Park Entry Fee Surcharge applies for guests ages 16 and older unless they have purchased an America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass.
