This full-day journey takes you from the low Sonoran Desert to the 7,000-foot South Rim of the Grand Canyon. You will travel through the Ponderosa Pine Forest of Northern Arizona, stopping at Sedona’s red rock viewpoints and multiple historic locations along the canyon's edge. With expert local guides handling the navigation, you can focus entirely on the massive scale of the canyon and the changing geology of the high desert.
The Grand Canyon & Sedona are bucket-list locations for almost everyone, and with us you'll get to see them both in the same day. Let us do the driving, you do the looking.

Your day starts with an early pickup from select hotels in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, or Tempe area. As the drive heads north, the Sonoran Desert gives way to higher country and the deep green of the Ponderosa Pine Forest. The route includes time in Sedona, with a photo stop at Bell Rock and approximately 30 minutes in Uptown Sedona. From there, the road continues through Oak Creek Canyon toward the South Rim.
At Grand Canyon National Park, you'll have approximately three hours to take in the South Rim. The tour includes several viewpoints plus time in Grand Canyon Village, where you can stroll the rim and visit El Tovar and Hopi House. The stop is built for sightseeing, photos, and time to absorb the scale of the canyon. After the park visit, the return trip heads back to the Valley in the evening.
