Grand Canyon Day Hikes

The Beginner Grand Canyon Day Hike is a sightseeing tour with a short hike that includes a trail-side picnic. This guided tour is intended for guests that have a base level of fitness and is the perfect balance between hiking & sightseeing.  We'll not only take you to various overlooks and vistas (bring your camera!) but we'll also do a short but exhiliarating hike to "Ooh, Ahh Point".  You can guess why it's named that.  This hike is almost a mile and approximately 45-minutes into the Grand Canyon.  On the way up we'll get our blood pumping as we finally crest the rim.

The Intermediate Grand Canyon Day Hike is all about the views and hiking.  These tours are tailored to the group as a whole.  Your professional and medically certified guide will assess the group's fitness and experience and select the trail and pace to fit.  Keep in mind, however, that this hike will still require a decent base level of fitness.  Grand Canyon hiking trails are rugged and steep, and the further down you go, the further you have to hike out and this tour is intended for more experienced hikers.

Our Advanced Grand Canyon Day Hikes are strenuous single-day trips into Grand Canyon. Advanced hikes commonly start with a pickup in Flagstaff at 7:45am, but can sometimes be earlier. Your guide will have broad discretion as to the choice of trail and distance to be hiked that day (with consideration of guests' input as well, of course). There are numerous options available, and guests can expect hiking distances of 8 miles (13 km) or more and durations of 8 hours or more. This gives guests the chance to get deep into the Canyon and experience vistas and terrain that 98% of Grand Canyon visitors miss.  Experienced and physically fit hikers only.
