Intermediate Grand Canyon Day Hike - This tour is all about the views and hiking. These tours are tailored to the group as a whole, and your professional and medically certified guide will assess the group's fitness and experience and select the trail and pace to fit. Keep in mind, however, that this hike will still require a decent base level of fitness. Grand Canyon hiking trails are rugged and steep, and the further down you go, the further you have to hike out, so this tour is intended for more experienced hikers. If you are an experienced hiker looking for a challenging and rewarding experience, this tour is perfect for you. You will see some of the most spectacular views in the world and have the opportunity to hike into the depths of the Grand Canyon. Please note that this tour is not suitable for beginners or those with limited mobility.
Advanced Grand Canyon Day Hikes - Advanced hikes into the Grand Canyon are perfect for experienced and physically fit hikers. The distance and duration of the hike will be determined by your guide, based on the group's fitness level and experience. Hikes typically last 8 hours or more and cover 8 miles (13 km) or more. This gives hikers the chance to get deep into the Canyon and experience vistas and terrain that 98% of Grand Canyon visitors miss. If you are up for a challenge and want to see the Grand Canyon in a way that few people ever do, then an advanced hike is the perfect option for you.
Here are some of the things you can expect on an advanced hike into the Grand Canyon:

Duration: 5+ hours depending on hiking level. Actual hiking time will depend on the hike level; the rest of the time will be spent on a scenic tour of the canyon.
Departs: Most hotels/Air BnBs/B&Bs in Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan & Grand Canyon Village. Times vary with all locations.

Cost: Beginner Hikes & Intermediate Hikes — 1-4 guests $1200, additional guests $295 each; Advanced Hikes (ages 16+) — 1-4 guests $1350, additional guests $325 each. At this time all tours are kept private.
Season: This tour is available year round, weather dependent.
Skill level: Beginner to Advanced. Beginner hikes 7+ y.o. Intermediate hikes 12+ y.o.. Advanced hikes, please inquire about age restrictions.
Notes: RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Micro spikes available seasonally - (need shoe sizes November 1st - April 30th). Close-toe shoes are required and a hat & sunscreen are recommended. Don't forget your camera! Please dress appropriately for the temperature & weather.
Cancellation Policy: All half and full day tours have a 7-day cancelation policy. If your plans change for any reason, please be sure to call at least 7 days prior to the day of your tour to avoid charges.
