What is the minimum age?
Children ages 3 and older are welcome. Arizona law requires appropriate car seats or booster seats for children; please bring one if needed.
How difficult is this tour?
This is an easy sightseeing tour with short walks to viewpoints on paved or maintained paths.
How much walking is involved?
Most stops involve short walks of a few minutes. Guests may choose how far they want to explore at each viewpoint within the allotted time.
Is the elevation a concern?
The Grand Canyon South Rim sits at approximately 7,000 feet above sea level. Some guests may feel mild effects such as shortness of breath.
How long is the helicopter flight?
The flight lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Are there weight restrictions?
Yes. Body weight is required at booking, and all passengers are weighed prior to boarding. Guests over 300 lbs must purchase an additional seat (paid directly to the helicopter operator).
Can the helicopter flight be canceled?
Yes. The helicopter portion is weather dependent. If canceled due to weather, the helicopter portion is refunded; the ground tour portion is not.
