Desert Miles and Mountain Views: A Guide's Take on the Guided Scottsdale Road Biking Adventure

A Road Cyclist's Dream Destination
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, the Valley of the Sun is a dream destination for cyclists - endless desert roads, challenging climbs, and mountain views around every bend. That's exactly what our Guided Scottsdale Road Biking Adventure is built for: a guided road ride through the Sonoran Desert, tailored to the way you want to ride.
The Meet & the Roll-Out
Your ride starts at our Tempe bike shop - exact address and directions arrive with your confirmation. After a comprehensive safety briefing, bike fitting, and the liability release form, you'll roll out on the best available carbon frame road bike from the fleet, with your guide setting the pace from the first pedal stroke.
Routes Built Around You
No two rides are the same. Routes range from 15 to 100 miles and are optimized to match your riding priorities - flat desert roads for a scenic cruise, challenging climbs when you want to work for the views, or fast-paced training rides if you're chasing cadence. Whether you're an avid roadie, a visiting triathlete in training, or a casual rider out for a desert taste, the ride is built around your group.
More Than a Ride
The miles are the point; the storytelling is what makes them stick. Your guides share a wealth of information about the area's geography and history as you ride - the landscapes, the desert, and the corners of the Valley of the Sun you'd never find on your own. It's one thing to pedal past a landscape; it's another to understand it.
