What is the Sunset Hiking Tour?
This is a guided 2-hour hike through the Sonoran Desert that culminates at a mountain viewpoint overlooking the Valley of the Sun during golden hour.

How long is the hike?
The hike lasts approximately 2 hours on natural-surface trails.

What time does the tour start?
Departures run between 4:00 and 6:30 PM depending on the season, timed to catch the sunset.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

What is the minimum age?
Participants must be at least 8 years old.

How difficult is the hike?
Easy to moderate. We go at your own speed and tailor the route to your fitness level.

What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes such as running, cross-training, or hiking shoes are required. No sandals.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What's included in the tour?
The tour includes an expert professional guide with Wilderness First Responder or EMT certification, lightweight backpacks and headlamps, bottled water, healthy trail snacks, any admission fees to parks or preserves, and beverages following your adventure.

What should I bring?
Bring closed-toe shoes, long-sleeved layers for sun protection and cooler evening temps, sunglasses, hat or cap, and a camera for the golden-hour light.

The tour operates year-round. Departures run between 4:00 and 6:30 PM depending on the season.

Do tours run in bad weather?
Tours operate in most conditions. In case of dangerous weather, we will reschedule or refund your tour.

PRICING & BOOKING

How much does the tour cost?
Solo hiker: $195
2-3 hikers: $125 per person
4-10 hikers: $99 per person
For parties of more than 10, please contact us for group rates.
Groups of 8+ incur an automatic 15% gratuity.
All tours are subject to an 8.1% tax.

Are reservations required?
Yes, reservations are required.

What is the cancellation policy?
This tour has a 72-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 72 hours will be charged 100% of the tour fee.
