How difficult is this hike?
This hike is designed for a relaxed pace over easy-to-moderate terrain. Because this is a private experience, the pace is set to the slowest member of your group, and your professional guide adjusts the route and elevation gain based on everyone's comfort level.
How long is the hike?
The total experience lasts approximately 2–3 hours depending on your group's preferred pace, covering around four miles across scenic desert trails.
Are kids allowed?
Yes. The minimum age is 4 years old. The pace, trail selection, and distance are tailored specifically to accommodate families and younger children comfortably.
What time do tours depart?
Because this is a private tour, departure times are flexible and can be customized to your group's schedule. As a general guideline for optimal trail conditions, summer departures (May through September) are typically scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM to avoid the midday heat. Fall, winter, and spring departures (October through April) are recommended at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Custom start times can be arranged during booking.
Where do we meet?
Meeting directions are provided upon booking confirmation. Unless an alternate custom trailhead is coordinated directly with your guide, tours typically meet at the Bell Rock Pathway Trailhead Parking Lot. Your guide will call the afternoon or evening prior to your tour to confirm meeting logistics and answer any last-minute questions.
What should I wear?
Sturdy, closed-toe hiking shoes or boots are required. We also strongly recommend weather-appropriate layers, a sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Do I need to bring water and snacks?
Yes. Guests are required to bring plenty of water and snacks for their hike. If you schedule your private tour across the midday lunch hour, bringing a packed lunch is highly recommended.
Can we stop for a picnic lunch during the hike?
Absolutely. Enjoying a packed lunch among the red rock backcountry is an unforgettable experience. Please note that stopping for a picnic or trail break is included within the total 2–3 hour duration of the tour.
Is this a private tour?
Yes. This is an exclusive private tour—we never add outside guests or merge groups.
What if the weather is bad?
Tours operate rain or shine. We only cancel or reschedule in the event of dangerous or severe weather conditions, and the decision to do so is made solely at the discretion of 360 Adventures.
Do I need a Red Rock Pass?
Yes. A Red Rock Pass or America the Beautiful Interagency Pass is required to park at most Sedona trailheads. Passes can be purchased at numerous self-serve trailhead fee machines or local vendors throughout the area.
What is the cancellation policy?
