What is the Guided Mountain Biking Phoenix tour?
It's an intermediate-level guided mountain bike tour at South Mountain's Pima Canyon Trailhead in Phoenix. The tour includes a dual-suspension mountain bike, helmet, water, snacks, and expert guidance.

How long is the tour?
The tour lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, with about 2 hours of cycling time.

What skill level is required?
Intermediate. Riders should be comfortable with moderate climbs and rocky sections. The tour is not suitable for beginners.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

What is the minimum age?
Riders must be at least 16 years old.

What are the physical requirements?
Ability to mount and dismount on uneven terrain, or to push your bike up hills. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory for safety.

What's included in the tour?
The tour includes performance full-suspension mountain bike with helmet, professional safety-certified mountain biking guide, snacks and bottled water, insurance, permits, and entry fees. Bikes and equipment delivered to the tour location.

EQUIPMENT & UPGRADES

What bike is included?
Standard included performance bikes are the Trek Top Fuel 7 and the Specialized Chisel.

Can I upgrade the bike?
Yes, you can upgrade to a high-performance dual-suspension mountain bike (Trek Fuel EX 9.8 XT Carbon, Specialized Epic EVO Expert Carbon, or Rocky Mountain Element C70 Carbon) for an additional $35.

WHAT TO BRING

What should I bring?
Bring closed-toe shoes (mandatory), comfortable athletic clothing (bike shorts recommended), hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, medications, and a camera.

WEATHER & SEASONAL CONDITIONS

When is this tour available?
This tour is available daily with prior reservation. Morning departures run from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM and afternoon departures run from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

PRICING & BOOKING

How much does the tour cost?
1 guest: $350. 2-3 guests: $175/person. 4-9 guests: $140/person. Private tours available for an additional $200. Transportation from your hotel is $295.

Are reservations required?
Yes, reservations are required.

What is the cancellation policy?
This tour has a 72-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 72 hours will be charged 100% of the tour fee.
