Enjoy a narrated flight over the most scenic portions of Arizona including the famous Red Rock formations of Sedona. Soar past the San Francisco Peaks, the Painted Desert and the Navajo Indian Reservation as you make your way to the Grand Canyon. You'll continue right over the Rim for a scenic overflight of the Canyon's widest and deepest point on a route that only a few are allowed to fly. This 20-30 minute fly-over of one of nature's most spectacular sights will give you a view only seen by a handful of people as you fly 1,000 feet above the south rim, and about equal to the north rim.
Shortly after landing, you will be transported into the park for a ground tour where you will enjoy majestic views from scenic overlooks while learning incredible facts about the geology, flora, fauna and history of this natural wonder. Your last stop will be the historic Grand Canyon Village where you can visit El Tovar Lodge, Hopi House, Kolb Studios, and various other great shops and galleries. The ground tour is approximately 3 hours.
Duration: Half day (approx 6 hours from Phoenix, 5 hours from Sedona).
Departs: Deer Valley Airport (7:30 check-in; 8:00 departure) or Sedona Airport (8:00 check-in, 8:30 departure).
