Trade the highway for the sky. Lift off from Phoenix on a narrated scenic airplane flight, watch Arizona's iconic landscapes unfold below the wing, and arrive at the Grand Canyon South Rim with hours to spare. A 25-minute overflight reveals the canyon's widest and deepest section before you land for a guided ground tour to its most spectacular viewpoints — all in a single day.
The Grand Canyon, the way it should be seen — from the air, from the rim, and from a perspective most day-trippers never get. Ready to fly?
MORE DETAILS BELOW
Your day begins at Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix, where you board a 5- or 9-passenger Cessna for a narrated scenic flight north. As the aircraft climbs, you'll take in sweeping aerial views of the Tonto National Forest, the Verde River, Sedona's red rock formations, the San Francisco Peaks, and the colorful terrain of the Painted Desert and Navajo Nation.
Approaching the South Rim, the aircraft transitions into a 25-minute overflight of the canyon's widest and most dramatic section, cruising approximately 1,000 feet above the rim for panoramic views you simply can't get from the ground. After landing, your roughly 3-hour guided ground tour begins inside Grand Canyon National Park, taking you to the most remarkable viewpoints along the South Rim. Walk, photograph, and take in the scale of the canyon at your own pace before the return flight to Phoenix.
