How long is the adventure?
Expect approximately 7.5 to 8 hours total. The round-trip private helicopter flight from Scottsdale accounts for roughly 4 hours in the air, and you will spend approximately 3.5 to 4 hours inside Grand Canyon National Park on your private guided scenic rim vehicle tour and catered lunch.
What will we see during the flight?
Your pilot flies a scenic aerial route crossing the Verde River Valley, Sedona's red rock canyons, Oak Creek Canyon, and the volcanic San Francisco Peaks en route to the Grand Canyon South Rim.

REQUIREMENTS & SAFETY
How physically demanding is this tour?
Physical demand is low. The ground portion is a private scenic vehicle tour with stops along paved viewing overlooks. All guests must be able to embark and disembark the aircraft and touring vehicle unassisted by staff (assistance from family and friends is welcomed).
Is there a weight or size limit?
Yes. The total combined passenger weight across all guests in your party must not exceed 850 lbs. Per FAA safety regulations, all passengers are weighed at check-in, and seat assignments are determined solely by the pilot for proper aircraft weight and balance.
Is there a minimum age?
The standard minimum age is 4 years old. If you are traveling with children under 4, please contact us directly before booking to discuss accommodations.
Does the Non-US Citizen National Park surcharge apply?

Yes. A freshly prepared catered lunch and chilled refreshments are provided during your South Rim ground tour.
Do I need to bring water?
We encourage guests to bring a personal water bottle for the aircraft flight segments. Chilled water and refreshments are provided throughout the ground tour.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably in layers appropriate for current rim conditions. Check the South Rim weather forecast prior to departure.

A valid government-issued photo ID, camera or smartphone, sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen.
WEATHER & DEPARTURES
Does weather affect the tour?
Yes. Helicopter flights operate strictly weather permitting. If adverse conditions or high winds prevent safe flight, your tour may be rescheduled or fully refunded.
When does the tour depart?
This tour operates year-round, weather permitting. Departure times are adjusted seasonally to maximize optimal flying and viewing conditions, typically departing between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.

Is transportation to Scottsdale Airport included?
No. Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Scottsdale Airport departure location.
BOOKING & POLICIES
Do I need advance reservations?
Yes. Advance reservations are required for all private helicopter flight tours.
What is your cancellation policy?
This tour has a strict 5-day (120-hour) cancellation policy. Cancellations made at least 5 days prior to scheduled departure receive a full refund; cancellations within 5 days are strictly non-refundable.
