ABOUT THE TOUR

Website:  /grand-canyon-south-rim-helicopter-flight-from-scottsdale/

What does the Grand Canyon helicopter experience include?
Round-trip private helicopter flight from Scottsdale Airpark, aerial views of Sedona’s red rock canyons, the South Rim, Zuni Point Corridor, Little Colorado River, Painted Desert, Meteor Crater, and the Mogollon Rim. A 30-minute comfort stop at Grand Canyon Airport allows for a stretch, restroom break, refueling, and photo opportunity.

What is the best helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon?
The South Rim route packs in more sightseeing along the way than the West Rim, and our pilots use a cinematic flight approach honed over decades of film production. Combined with the unobstructed views of the Airbus AS350 B2, it is an experience that stands apart.

What kind of helicopter is used for this tour?
This tour utilizes a luxury Airbus AS350 B2 helicopter, known for its unobstructed views and comfort.

Can we add ground activities to this flight?
Yes. You can extend your day with a separate Scenic Ground Tour or Hiking Add-On. Each add-on is priced and booked separately.

HELICOPTER REQUIREMENTS

Yes. There is a combined maximum weight limit of 850 lbs for all passengers. Guests are weighed at check-in to ensure safety.

What is the minimum age?
There is no minimum age for the helicopter-only flight. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

What level of fitness is required?
The helicopter-only flight requires minimal walking. If you add a hiking excursion, a base fitness level is required and guests should be prepared for the physical demands of ascending back to the rim at 7,000 feet of elevation.

GEAR & EQUIPMENT

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking layers (avoid cotton). For the flight, closed-toe shoes are recommended. If you add a hiking excursion, sturdy, broken-in hiking boots or shoes with good tread are required—sandals, flip-flops, or casual sneakers are not permitted.

What personal items should I bring?
We strongly recommend sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, and a camera. For hiking add-ons, please bring 1-2 liters of water per person in addition to what we provide.
