Traveling with Young Children? Car Seat Requirements for Our Tours
Arizona state law requires all children under 8 years old to be properly secured in an approved child safety seat or booster while riding in any vehicle, including our tour vans. To help your family prepare, here is what you need to know before your tour.
- Bring your child’s own car seat. We do not provide child car seats or booster seats, so please plan to bring an appropriate seat for each child who needs one.
- Children under 8 need a seat. Arizona law requires a proper child safety seat for passengers under 8, unless the child is 4'9" or taller.
- Install your seat before we depart. You are responsible for installing and securing your child’s seat in the tour van. Our guide will be happy to double-check that it is safely fastened before we leave.
- Plan ahead for a smooth day. If you have questions about which seat to bring or how it will fit in the vehicle, please contact us before your tour. Without an appropriate seat, we may not be able to accommodate your child on the tour for safety reasons.
