No. The Grand Canyon portion of this tour is aerial only. You will fly over the South Rim and surrounding areas for incredible panoramic views, but will not land inside the national park.
Do we visit Horseshoe Bend?
You will enjoy a spectacular scenic flyover of Horseshoe Bend. This tour does not include the ground hike to the overlook.
Is this a guided experience?

Is there a minimum age?
Yes. Guests must be at least 10 years old to participate in this flight and canyon tour.
How difficult is the canyon walk?
The Lower Antelope Canyon hike is considered moderate. Guests must be capable of walking 1.5 miles over uneven, sandy terrain, and navigating steep ladders and narrow sandstone passages.
Are bags allowed?
No. Bags of any kind (including backpacks, purses, fanny packs, camera bags, and hydration packs) are strictly prohibited inside the canyon.
What camera gear is allowed?
Photography is encouraged, but tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, video cameras, and GoPros are not permitted. Professional or commercial photography requires a separate Navajo Nation permit.
Is video recording allowed?
No. Video recording is strictly prohibited inside Lower Antelope Canyon.
Are drones allowed?
No. Drones are strictly prohibited anywhere on Navajo Nation lands, including Antelope Canyon and the surrounding areas.
Are service animals allowed?
No. Due to narrow passages, steep ladders, and strict safety requirements, service animals are not permitted inside Lower Antelope Canyon.
What type of aircraft is used?
Flights operate in small, FAA‑certified touring aircraft with 5‑ or 9‑passenger configurations. All seats are window seats to ensure optimal sightseeing.
How long is the flight?
The total duration of the tour is approximately 9 hours. Exact flight times vary slightly by season and routing, with a landing in Page for your ground tour and lunch.
Are there weight restrictions?
Yes. Accurate body weight is required at the time of booking, and all passengers are weighed prior to boarding. Seating is assigned strictly based on aircraft weight and balance safety protocols.

Do flights make additional stops?
Occasionally, minor routing adjustments may occur for safety, weather avoidance, or operational needs.
What should I wear?
Closed‑toe shoes are strictly required for the canyon hike. We recommend dressing in comfortable layers tailored to the forecast in both Phoenix and Page, as temperatures shift rapidly in the desert.
Can I bring snacks or water?
Yes. Small snacks and non‑alcoholic beverages are allowed on the aircraft. Bottled water is provided throughout the tour.
Should I bring a jacket?
Yes. The elevation in Page is higher than Phoenix, meaning mornings and specific areas inside the canyon can be significantly cooler.
Do tours run in the rain?
Yes. Tours operate rain or shine. Only dangerous weather conditions (such as high winds or flash flood warnings) will cause a cancellation.
Can weather affect the itinerary?
Yes. Weather patterns may safely dictate adjustments to flight routing, timing, or direct canyon access.
Where does the tour depart?
All flights depart from Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the airport.

What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel up to 6 days before your tour date for a full refund.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
Yes. A minimum number of passengers is required for the aircraft to fly. If your group is small, we consolidate bookings to meet this requirement.
