Tour Itinerary

Your advanced hiking adventure begins with a pickup from your Flagstaff, Williams, or Grand Canyon hotel. We'll drive to the South Rim trailhead, where your guide will lead you through a pre-hike safety briefing and gear check before we set out on the trail.

The hike takes you deep into the Grand Canyon, featuring challenging terrain and steep descents into the inner canyon. Along the way, you'll experience the canyon's unique geology, ecology, and history. Your guide will share insights into the area's natural and cultural history.

After completing the hike, we'll head back to the rim. The tour concludes with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel, leaving you with memories of an amazing Grand Canyon adventure.

Requirements

  • Skill Level: Advanced. Must be in excellent physical condition and experienced with strenuous hiking.
  • Minimum Age: 16 years old.
  • Walking: 8-12 miles with 3,000-5,000 feet of elevation change.
  • Attire: Sturdy hiking boots, moisture-wicking clothing, and sun protection required.

This tour operates year-round. During summer months (May-September), tours depart at dawn to avoid midday heat. Typical duration is 8-10 hours.
