Tour Itinerary

We meet at the Butcher Jones Recreation Site to gear up and receive a professional safety orientation from our expert crew. Once on the water, we navigate the stunning Saguaro Lake while paddling toward secluded inlets to spot local wildlife like  bighorn sheep & bald eagles. The pace is perfectly relaxed so you can soak up every bit of the Superstition Mountains. You are going to absolutely love this incredible desert escape!

Your guide shares expert insights into the vibrant Sonoran Desert ecosystem throughout the entire journey. We explore the most scenic shorelines before making our way back to the original launch site. Every paddle stroke is designed to leave you with unforgettable memories of the Arizona wilderness. This is the ultimate way to experience the beauty of the Southwest!

Tour Price

Solo: $288.00
2-3 Guests: $144.00/person
4-9 Guests: $115.00/person

Single kayaks available for additional $10.00 per person.
Private tours available for an additional $200.00.
Hotel pick-up may be available for $250.00.

Requirements

  • Skill Level: Beginner – This is a relaxing float through the desert.
  • Minimum Age: 12+ years and 35 lbs+; all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Walking: Minimal distance from parking to the water launch.
  • Special Requirements: Secure footwear required (no flip-flops or bare feet).

Season & Departure Times

This tour is available year-round. From October–May, departures are at 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM. From June–September, departures are at 7:30 AM only. Please note that weekend tours are not available from May–September.

Important Notes

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED: All tours must be booked in advance. Recommended attire includes a hat, sunscreen (SPF 30+), and weather-appropriate clothing. Don't forget a waterproof camera!
