Our guided river kayaking tours are the perfect way to cool off on a warm day in Arizona’s desert. Spend a relaxing morning paddling along lush green riverbanks and towering cliffs, keep alert for sightings of wild horses and bald eagles. Guided kayak tours on the Salt River are scheduled to avoid the crowds and are perfectly suited to take advantage of all the river has to offer, including refreshingly cool swimming and a unique perspective on the desert.
If you’ve done the tubing and would like a different look at the Lower Salt, this tour is for you. With different water options available, you can experience this river 2 ways depending on the time of year:
Lower Section (year round) - This enjoyable and relaxing float starts where the Verde River merges with the Lower Salt making this 3 mile tour available all year long. Rich with a heavy selection of wildlife including wild horses, you can also enjoy your tour without the popularity of tubers.
Upper Section (May thru September) – This breathtaking float starts at the beautiful Saguaro Lake Ranch, giving both a private launch and take out experience. You will enjoy a little more river action on this 5.5 mile tour as well as views that only the river can offer.
Multiple trip launch times to choose from each day means you can always enjoy perfect weather no matter the season.
