ABOUT THE TOUR

What’s included in this tour?
A high-roof touring van with oversized windows, speaker system, and USB charging ports; a professional guide; multiple scenic viewpoints along the Grand Canyon South Rim; a 45-minute helicopter flight; Grand Canyon National Park entrance fees; fuel surcharge; unlimited bottled water; and all taxes.

How long is the tour?
This is a full-day experience, typically 12–13 hours including all travel time.

What will I see?
On the ground, you’ll travel through the Sonoran Desert, past Flagstaff with views of the San Francisco Peaks, and through Northern Arizona’s ponderosa pine forests. At the Grand Canyon, you’ll explore multiple panoramic viewpoints along the South Rim. Your 45-minute helicopter flight covers the Kaibab National Forest, the North Rim, the Colorado River, the Painted Desert, Desert View Watchtower, Marble Canyon, Point Imperial, the Dragon Corridor, and the South Rim.

Is this a guided experience?
Yes. A 360 Adventures guide leads the full ground portion of your day. The helicopter flight is operated by a certified Grand Canyon air tour provider.

Will I have time to hike?
You will have free time to walk the rim or self-guide a small portion of Bright Angel Trail. Tour guides are not permitted to lead hikes.


REQUIREMENTS

What is the minimum age?
Children ages 3 and older are welcome. Arizona law requires appropriate car seats or booster seats for children — please bring one if needed.

How difficult is this tour?
Easy. This tour is suitable for children, seniors, and all fitness levels. Casual walking is expected at viewpoints on paved or maintained paths. No hiking is required.

How much walking is involved?
Mostly short, self-paced walks at viewpoints. Guests may choose how far they explore within the allotted time.

Is the elevation a concern?
The Grand Canyon South Rim sits at approximately 7,000 feet above sea level. Some guests may notice mild effects such as shortness of breath, particularly those traveling from lower elevations.

Are there weight restrictions for the helicopter?
Yes. Body weight is required at booking, and all passengers are weighed prior to boarding. Guests over 300 lbs must purchase an additional seat, paid directly to the helicopter operator.


GEAR

What should I wear?
Dress for the Grand Canyon forecast, which typically runs 20–30°F cooler than Phoenix and Scottsdale. Layers and closed-toe shoes are recommended year-round.

Should I bring a jacket?
Yes — especially for morning and evening travel. Temperatures can drop significantly compared to Phoenix, even in summer.

Can I bring snacks or water?
Yes. Small snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Bottled water is provided throughout the day.

Is the helicopter comfortable?
Yes. The aircraft is climate-controlled and designed for sightseeing, with large windows for unobstructed views.


SEASON

Do tours run year-round?
Yes. Tours operate daily, year-round, weather permitting.

Do tours run in rain?
Yes. Tours operate rain or shine. Only dangerous weather conditions will cause a cancellation.

How much cooler is the Grand Canyon than Phoenix?
Typically 20–30°F cooler. Always check the forecast before your tour and pack accordingly.

Can weather affect the itinerary?
Occasionally. Your guide may adjust stops based on conditions. Helicopter flights may be canceled due to weather — see the Cancellation section below for refund details.


RESERVATIONS

Do I need a reservation?
Yes. Reservations are required. This tour sells out regularly, especially during peak seasons — book early to secure your preferred date.

Do you pick up at my hotel?
Pickup is available from select Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe hotels and resorts. If your location is not on the pickup list, we’ll arrange a nearby meeting point with free, safe parking.

When will I know my pickup time?
Exact pickup time and location are confirmed upon booking. Your guide will follow up with any additional instructions prior to your tour date.

What kind of vehicle will we travel in?
A high-roof touring van with oversized windows, a speaker system for guide narration, and USB charging ports. Public tours seat a maximum of 13 guests.

Is lunch included?
No. Guests may bring their own food or purchase meals at the Grand Canyon during free time.

Are there restroom stops?
Yes. Restroom stops are made throughout the day.

Is there a Non-Resident Fee for international visitors?
Yes. Effective January 1, 2026, the National Park Service requires a $100 per person Non-Resident Fee for all non-U.S. citizens and non-residents ages 16 and older. This fee is waived for holders of an America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass. Full details: nps.gov


CANCELLATION

What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel up to 72 hours before your scheduled tour for a full refund. Please refer to your confirmation email for complete details.

What happens if the helicopter flight is canceled due to weather?
The helicopter portion of your payment will be refunded. The ground tour portion is non-refundable.

Is there a minimum number of guests required?
Yes. A minimum number of guests is required to operate a public tour departure.
