Tour Itinerary

Meet your guide at a designated Sedona trailhead for a brief orientation before heading out on your private, customizable hiking experience. Our guides select a route that prioritizes signature red rock formations and geological features, ensuring your group moves at a steady pace while exploring deep wilderness areas. You will navigate challenging terrain and steeper grades to reach the best vantage points in the region.

As you trek through the high desert flora, enjoy frequent opportunities for scenic photography while your guide shares insights into the area's natural history and geology. The total distance and specific landmarks are adjusted based on your group's ability, ensuring a focused and rewarding 4–5 hour exploration. Your tour concludes back at the trailhead with a deeper understanding of Sedona's iconic landscapes.

Requirements

• Skill Level: Designed for experienced hikers; routes may include steeper grades and uneven surfaces.
• Physical Requirements: Guests should be able to complete a longer, demanding hike at a steady pace.
• Minimum Age: 10 years old.
• Required Gear: Closed-toe shoes are required.
• Supplies: Guests must provide their own water & snacks.
• Recommended: Hat and sunscreen are highly suggested.

Season & Departure Times

This tour operates year-round, weather permitting. From October through May, departures are available at 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. From June through September, tours depart at 7:00 AM to take advantage of cooler morning temperatures.
