ABOUT THE TOUR

Webpage:  https://www.360-adventures.com/utv-tour/

What’s included in this tour?
A professional guide, Kawasaki Teryx4 UTV, helmets, goggles, bottled water, and snacks.

How long is the tour?
Approximately two hours on the trail, with additional time for check‑in, gear fitting, and the safety briefing.

Where does the tour take place?
The Sonoran Desert near the Tonto National Forest, starting from the Four Peaks Staging Area. It’s an easy drive from Scottsdale or Phoenix.

What kind of UTV will we be in?
A Kawasaki Teryx4—a trail‑ready side‑by‑side built for rocky climbs, loose sand, and uneven desert terrain.

Is this tour good for beginners?
Yes. No off‑road experience is needed. Your guide covers everything in the safety briefing and sets a comfortable pace.

BOOKING & PRICING

How much does the tour cost?
$375 for a 1–2 person UTV and $575 for a 3–4 person UTV. Tax (8.1%) and a federal land‑use surcharge (5%) are added at checkout. Groups of 8+ include a 15% gratuity.

How many people can ride in one UTV?
Up to four. Choose a 1–2 person or 3–4 person vehicle when you book. Larger groups simply reserve multiple UTVs.

Is there a minimum group size?
Yes. Four guests are required for the tour to run. Smaller parties may be combined with other guests.

How do I book?
Book directly through the tour page. Pricing and availability are shown clearly, and you’ll receive meeting details and transportation options upon confirmation.

Is transportation included?
Not by default. Hotel/resort pickup is available for $35 per person (8‑person minimum). Groups under 8 can arrange a flat rate of $280.

Where do we meet?
The Four Peaks Staging Area. Directions are included in your confirmation.

How early should I arrive?
20–30 minutes before departure to allow time for check‑in, waivers, gear fitting, and the safety briefing.

Is parking available?
Yes. The staging area has space for guest vehicles. The surface is unpaved, so expect a little dust.

SAFETY & REQUIREMENTS

What are the age requirements?
Drivers must be 16 or older. Passengers must be 6 or older.

What safety gear is provided?
Helmets and goggles (required) are provided and fitted by your guide. Prescription glasses can be worn under the goggles.

Do I need prior off‑road experience?
No. The guide handles navigation and pacing, and the route is chosen to be approachable for first‑timers.

Is the ride rough?
It’s an off‑road trail with bumps, rocks, and uneven ground. The UTVs are built for it, but expect some jostling—that’s part of the fun.

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR

What should I wear?
Closed‑toe shoes (required) and comfortable outdoor clothing you don’t mind getting dusty. Layers in cooler months; lightweight long sleeves for sun protection.

Should I bring extra water?
Bottled water is provided, but bringing your own extra bottle is a smart idea, especially in warmer months.

Can I bring a camera?
Yes. Use a wrist strap or small bag to keep it secure on bumpy sections. Your guide will pause at scenic spots for photos.

Do I need sunscreen?
Absolutely. The Sonoran Desert sun is strong year‑round. A hat for before and after the ride helps too.

DESERT CONDITIONS

What is the weather like?
Expect dry air, bright sun, and temperatures that shift with the season. Mornings can be cool, afternoons warm, and wind or dust is possible.

Will we see wildlife?
Possibly. Jackrabbits, birds of prey, lizards, and the occasional desert tortoise inhabit the area. Sightings are never guaranteed.

Is the elevation a concern?
No. The tour sits at moderate desert elevation. The dry air is more noticeable than the altitude. Stay hydrated.

Is there cell service?
Service is spotty on the trail. Your guide carries communication equipment, so don’t rely on your phone during the ride.

POLICIES

What is the cancellation policy?
Full refund if you cancel up to 72 hours before your tour. Inside that window, refunds are not available.

What happens if the weather is bad?
If conditions make the trail unsafe, the operator will reschedule your tour.

Can I tip my guide?
Yes, and it’s appreciated. Groups of 8+ have a 15% gratuity added automatically. Smaller groups can tip at their discretion.

Are restrooms available?
There are no restrooms on the trail. Take care of everything before leaving the staging area.
