What makes the helicopter portion unique?

What is the Skywalk?
The Skywalk is a glass-bottom bridge that extends 65 feet over the canyon edge, offering a direct view 4,000 feet down to the canyon floor.
Where do we eat lunch and what are the options?
Lunch is provided at Guano Point. Options include Chicken Tenders, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Cheeseburger, Impossible Burger, BBQ Chicken Sandwich, BBQ Pork Sandwich, or a Vegan BBQ Sandwich.
Can I bring my own food?
No. Due to Hualapai tribal rules, outside food and alcoholic drinks are not allowed.
Is this tour suitable for everyone?
This tour is not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges due to uneven ground, stairs, and areas without guard rails. Additionally, infants are discouraged from this tour due to the amount of walking involved.
Are there weight restrictions for the helicopter?
Yes. Passengers weighing 300 lbs (136 KG) or more are required to purchase an additional seat on the helicopter due to weight restrictions.
Are there weight restrictions for the airplane?
There is an additional $150.00 per person charge for passengers over 285 lbs, assessed by the airplane operator and payable at check-in.
Should I bring a camera?
Absolutely. The helicopter landing site and the Skywalk offer one-of-a-kind photo opportunities. We also recommend sunscreen and hats.
What should I wear?
Tours operate rain or shine. We recommend dressing in layers and wearing sturdy walking shoes for the uneven terrain at the West Rim.
Where does the tour start?
The tour departs from Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix. Check-in is at 7:00 AM for a 7:30 AM departure.
What happens if the helicopter flight is grounded?
Should weather or extenuating circumstances render the helicopter option unavailable on the day of your tour, you will be refunded the amount of the helicopter portion only.

No. This is an inclusive tour. If you choose not to participate in any of the activities, the cost remains the same.
