Discover dusk and dawn in Sedona and the Grand Canyon on this three-day, two-night guided tour. Enjoy a day in Sedona among the world famous red rock formations as well as a day exploring Grand Canyon National Park. Guests will also experience Historic Route 66 to enjoy a bygone era in American History.

Departs:  most hotels in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa and Tempe; departs approximately 6:00am on the first day and returns approximately 7:30pm on the last.

Day 1:

To see the rich American West history, this guided Arizona tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilizations, marvel at the spectacular landscape of Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and explore local and Navajo artisans of Sedona. This multi-day trip features an ancient Native American ruins from the Sinagua Tribe that existed along this busy trade route between 1250 – 1425AD. Montezuma Castle National Monument is an excellently preserved site that gives guests a fantastic glimpse into the history of its first inhabitants.

Following our time at the Native American National Monument, the Sedona leg of our tour will begin to explore the mystique surrounding Sedona with options ranging from cultural and spiritual to adventurous and active. Made famous by its marvelous red rock cliffs, Sedona plays host to world class artisans, outdoor enthusiasts and the “occasional” tourist. The tour of Sedona will include visits to the famous red rock features of Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, and Chapel of the Holy Cross, but you will also be provided views of Cathedral Rock, Snoopy Rock, and Submarine Rock to name a few. In uptown Sedona, you can explore on foot the many art galleries and shops, get a psychic reading, or enjoy the serenity that Sedona offers with a glass of wine on the balcony. An alternate choice available as an add-on is an off-road jeep tour exploring the backcountry of Sedona. You’ll have the remainder of the day to relax on your own before checking into your hotel at approximately 3:00pm. Lodging upgrades are available for an additional fee.

Overnight in Sedona, AZ

Day 2:

Upon departing Sedona at approximately 9:30am, the tour passes through Oak Creek Canyon, a scenic byway that winds through 2,000 vertical feet of a red walled canyon to emerge surrounded by the dense ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest. Atop the Mogollon Rim, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests will have the afternoon free within the National Park marveling at the beauty that is the Grand Canyon. While at the South Rim Village of the National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited amount of photographs, or enjoy your lunch and relax with the best seat in the house.

Day 3:

Enjoy a relaxing morning as the sun rises above the rim of one of the most beautiful natural Wonders of the World. Take part in a morning hike or simply relax before checking out to meet up with your tour guide around 1:45pm.

Additional tour highlights today will include a stop along historic Route 66 in Williams for a chance to experience this iconic American highway steeped in rich tradition. While in Williams, guests will have the opportunity to “get their kicks on Route 66” with walks along the original route, explore the local shops and capture souvenir photos highlighting a bygone era in classic Americana history. Also known as the Will Rodgers Highway, Route 66 is the most recognizable road in the United States and stretched 2,448 miles from Chicago to California upon completion.

A $150 non-refundable tour deposit is due at the time of booking.  This non-refundable deposit is included in the tour's final price.

Notes:  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Fuel surcharge may apply.  If any of the guest's selected tour dates fall within Peak Season, the tour will be charged as such.  Sunscreen and hats are recommended.  Don't forget your camera!

*We offer door-to-door hotel pickup and drop off service to most hotels in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Guests staying west of I-17, or in the east valley (Chandler, Mesa, etc), or at private residences will be asked to meet at a nearby pre-determined pickup location.

Cancellation Policy:  Multi-day tours have a 7 day cancellation policy.  If your plans change for any reason, please be sure to call at least 7 days prior to your tour start time to avoid charges.  Tours cancelled less than 7 days from the departure date will be charged in full.
