Phoenix to Las Vegas with Grand Canyon Overnight

Experience the serenity of sunrise and sunset in Grand Canyon before arriving in exciting Las Vegas! This two-day tour offers a brief visit to Sedona, featuring the world famous red rock formations, as well as a tour of Grand Canyon National Park before traveling to the bright lights of Las Vegas. Arizona’s wonder of the world is yours to explore on this overnight tour with the best Grand Canyon South Rim views. Once in Las Vegas, your guide will finish the tour by dropping you at the hotel of your choice along the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Departs:  most hotels in Phoeniix, Scottsdale, Mesa & Tempe; departs approximately 6:00am on day one, and arrives in Las Vegas at approximately 8:00pm the last day.*

Day 1:
To see Arizona’s colorful landscape, the Phoenix, AZ to Sedona, AZ to Las Vegas, NV tour with overnight stay in the Grand Canyon gives you a chance to learn about ancient Native American civilizations, marvel at the spectacular landscapes of Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and explore local and Navajo artisans of Sedona and the Grand Canyon. After departing the Phoenix/Scottsdale area at approximately 6:30am, Sedona will be our first stop along the tour. Guests will have a chance to photograph the famous red rocks, stretch their legs and take a quick walk around this picturesque town. While you are enjoying Sedona, your guide will pick up your gourmet picnic lunch made fresh that morning. The tour will then pass through Oak Creek Canyon, a scenic byway that winds through 2,000 vertical feet of a red walled canyon to emerge surrounded by the dense ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest.

Atop the Mogollon Rim, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests will enjoy magnificent views that open up in front of them at the stunning South Rim, the deepest and widest part of the Grand Canyon. While at the South Rim of the National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited amount of photographs, or enjoy your lunch and relax with the best seat in the house. Your guide will assist you with your hotel check in and you will have the remainder of the day on your own to relax, overlooking one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lodging upgrades are available for additional cost.

Overnight in Grand Canyon, AZ
Day 2:
During the morning hours you will have ample time on your own to relax and have a leisurely breakfast, take sunrise photographs overlooking the Grand Canyon, or even do a morning hike. At approximately 3:30pm, your DETOURS of Arizona guide will greet you at the front lobby of your Grand Canyon lodge and transfer you to Las Vegas. Highlights on the tour from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas include traveling over the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and along parts of the historic Route 66. Completed on October 19, 2010, the Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is one of the few connecting bridges that joins Arizona to Nevada. Once in Las Vegas, your DETOURS of Arizona guide will drop you off at the hotel of your choice along the Las Vegas Strip at approximately 8:00pm.

Tours are charged in full at the time of booking.  A $150 non-refundable deposit is included in the tour's final price.

Notes:  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Fuel surcharge may apply.  If any of the guest's selected tour dates fall within Peak Season, the tour will be charged as such.  Sunscreen and hats are recommended.  Don't forget your camera!

*We offer door-to-door hotel pickup and drop off service to most hotels in Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe. Guests staying west of I-17, or in the east valley (Chandler, Mesa, etc), or at private residences will be asked to meet at a nearby pre-determined pickup location.

Cancellation Policy:  Multi-day tours have a 7 day cancellation policy.  If your plans change for any reason, please be sure to call at least 7 days prior to your tour start time to avoid charges.  Tours cancelled less than 7 days from the departure date will not be refunded.
