The Sonoran Desert is a biological wonderland. Home to 60 species of mammal, more than 350 kinds of birds, 20 amphibians, around 100 reptiles and over 2000 native species of plants this playground is surprisingly green. On our Scottsdale hiking tours you'll learn about the amazing biodiversity - from edible plants to how plants survive with little to no water and more. This is truly an educational experience.
Our full day Phoenix & Scottsdale hiking tours give us plenty of time to really immerse ourselves in the landscape. Enjoy a leisurely stroll and picnic as you learn how certain species adapted to the arid conditions; or, we can take you on trails that will get your blood pumping and your lungs huffing . . . it's all up to you. Sunset hikes are available from October through April.
Duration: Up to 7 hours of on-trail time.
Departs: 8:00am. Meet location is dependent upon skill level and where you are staying in The Valley.
Includes: Permits & entry fees, skilled guide(s), water**, snacks & day packs. Trekking poles available upon request (when available). Guides carry First Aid kits & cell phones.
Cost: $250 for a solo hiker; $125/person for groups 2-3 and there is a 20% discount for groups 4+. Private tours are available for an additional, one-time fee of $200. Round trip transportation is as follows: 1-3 guests - $150; 4-12 guests - $350; 12+ - $550+
Season: This tour is available from October through April. Due to the extreme heat this tour is not available from May through September.

Notes: RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Close toe shoes are required; hat & sunscreen recommended. Don't forget your camera! Guests must bring their own water bottles and lunch. We will have filtered water for refills.
Cancellation Policy: Our hiking tours do not cancel for rain, however we will cancel them if the weather is considered dangerous. 360 Adventures guides will determine what constitutes dangerous conditions. All half and full day tours have a 7-day cancelation policy. If your plans change for any reason, please be sure to call at least 7 days prior to the day of your tour to avoid charges. You can purchase cancellation insurance for $10/person - this allows you to cancel up to 36 hours prior to your departure.
