Wanna be a cowboy?  Come along on the quintessential Arizona adventure - a classic trail ride!  Seeing Arizona's spectacular desert scenery from the back of a horse gives you a taste of the Old West.  Imagine riding trails that have been used for hundreds of years by lawmen, outlaws, indians and settlers.

 

Feel the towering saguaro cactus gazing upon you as we tell the colorful history of lost gold mines and the mysteries of the Sonoran Desert. Learn about the wild west and what makes this landscape special.

 

Duration:  Tours range from 1 to 4 hours

 

Departs:  Phoenix/Scottsdale

 

Includes:  Permits & entry fees, skilled guide(s), well-trained horses & water.

 

Cost:  1 hour - $50/person; 2 hour - $70/person;  half day - $125/person (min. 2, seasonally available).  Transportation is available from many Scottsdale resorts for an additional $10/person.

 

Season:  This tour is available year round, weather dependent.

 

Skill level:  Beginner to Advanced

 

Notes:  RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.  Minimum age:  6 yrs old.  Weight limit: 230 pounds.  No double riding.  Long pants and closed toed shoes are required. Sunscreen and hats are recommended.  Don't forget your camera!

 

Cancelation Policy:  Private tours have a 48-hour cancelation policy; group tours have a 72-hour cancelation policy.  If your plans change for any reason, please be sure to call at least 48 or 72 hours prior to your tour start time to avoid charges.
