Guided Half & Full Day Tours

Multi-Day Adventures

When you think of the American Southwest, images of cowboys, Indians, deserts & cactus, and the Grand Canyon are generally the first things that come to mind.  Well, that’s what this tour is all about.  We’ll spend time in “The West’s most western town”, old mining towns, and the red rocks of Sedona; we’ll hike toward the top of Arizona and scope the night skies; we’ll take a train ride to the Grand Canyon and hike below its rim.  We’ll hike through narrow slot canyons.  And that’s not all!!  Eventually we’ll find ourselves in Las Vegas for . . . whatever!

We start in Scottsdale where we’ll enjoy three days of adventure and refinement.  From the get-go we’re into excitement with rock climbing, mountain biking and technical canyoneering.  A most welcome rest day follows with a scenic drive through history as we visit Jerome on our way to Sedona, home to the world famous red rocks.  We’re back on the bikes for a quick ride in the morning leaving the afternoon open for options.

Most people visiting Arizona are stunned to see pine trees and green mountains.  We’ll hike toward the highest peak of Arizona, at 12,644’; later that evening we have a date with the stars!  The next morning its “All Aboard!” as you ride the train to the Grand Canyon.  Enjoy some free time exploring Grand Canyon village and the South Rim.  The next morning we’ll rise early and hike below the rim.

It keeps getting better as we travel through the Navajo Nation, via the Painted Desert; we’ll arrive in Page, our layover for the night.  Make sure your cameras are in working order because Antelope Canyon and Canyon X are a photographer’s dream.  We’re on the road for only a short time before we’re at another outdoor paradise, Zion National Park.

Our last day will finally bring us into Las Vegas.  What happens in Vegas . . . !
