Day one
will find us in Salome Canyon, a pink granite drainage into

swimming through the 150' photogenic slot. One short rappel
awaits us near the end. Day two
will be spent exploring Tonto National Monument in the morning then
learning about the seemingly
"Why mix canyoneering with primitive skills?" you ask! Our reply is that canyoneering is a great way to explore where most people dare not go; primitive skills are just fun to learn. And since most of us like to relax in the outdoors a day of rest is augmented by learning how to make pottery, or cordage, or discovering the edible, medicinal and useful plants of the area.
